Category Shetland Sheepdog

The Shetland Sheepdog, often known as the Sheltie, is a small to medium-sized herding dog breed originating in Scotland. They have a thick double coat, usually in shades of sable, black, blue merle, with distinctive “mane” around their neck. Known for their intelligence, agility, and obedience, they excel in dog competitions. They are also extremely loyal and affectionate with families, but can be reserved towards strangers. Their high energy levels require regular exercise and mental stimulation.
