Category Old English Sheepdog

The Old English Sheepdog is a large breed known for its shaggy, double coat that covers its entire body including face and eyes. This playful, adaptable and intelligent breed was originally bred in England for herding sheep. Despite their imposing size, they are incredibly gentle creatures and make excellent family pets. Their thick woolly fur requires regular grooming to prevent matting. The breed is easily recognizable by a distinctive bear-like gait due to its shorter front legs.
